Term 8 2012 End Block Week

Freeman White - Painting the New Zealand Landscape

It was a full class with alot of talent in the room. Freeman gave us some very useful demonstrations on brush techniques and colour mixing. He used a piece of his own, and it was great.
It was a challenge for me and I had a go at three landscapes that were very different, one for my mother to her specifications taking separate components and creating one scene (I don't recommend it) the other two from photos I've taken in the past. You can change things that don't work of course as you paint and I did. My last week, sort of weird knowing I would not be coming back, I will miss the people and their encouragement.
