Roger Key – Drawing the Figure
The parts of the skeleton that do not have much coverage will define
the shape ie forehead, jaw, chin, temple,
clavide, scapula, elbow, wrist, fingers, hip, back ,knee, ankle.
What defines shape further?
Veins – hands, forearm, back of arm from elbow to wrist, temple.
Neck, pectoral muscle to shoulder,
breast.
Muscle - sterno mastoideus, trapezium, biceps, gluteus gastrocnemii
Our first task was to sketch the human skeleton and pass it on
(Mercedes finished mine) I did Regina’s I think, I carried on with the style
she started so the piece looked to be cohesive (stops you being precious with
your work)
Make a collage from magazines then draw them super large using black
and white crayon on brown paper. Helps with bringing different components
together as a cohesive whole.
